Oceania Cruises introduces new ‘Grand Voyages’

For the first time Oceania Cruises has introduced an exciting series of 23 to 71 night Grand Voyages to offer guests the opportunity to explore the world, returning each day to the comfort and luxury of Oceania Cruises’ comfortable, mid-sized luxury cruise ships.

Oceania Cruises’ Grand Voyages are created by blending two or more itineraries, to two ore more continents, to tailor an exceptional voyage of discovery and create a memorable experience, several weeks, or months, long.

All cruises include complimentary soft drinks and bottled water, fine dining in Oceania Cruises’ legendary restaurants, with no speciality supplement, a 5% saving for those booking two or more cruise sectors, as well as free pre-paid gratuities and a $250 per guest credit.

Grand Voyages include Marina’s 48 night Rendezvous to the Pacific sailing (departing Dec. 10, 2012), from Rio southwards around the coastline of South America calling into Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Chile, across the Pacific to Chile’s Robinson Crusoe Island, the volcanic island of Hanga Roa and the Pitcairn Islands, to spend a magnificent final ten days cruising the idyllic island paradises of French Polynesia. Christmas Day is spent cruising the Pacific Ocean between Puerto Montt and Valpairiso, to ensure a relaxing time spent on board to enjoy Oceania Cruises’ legendary restaurants. The 48 night cruise costs from 5682 euros, including all meals, complimentary bottled water and soft drinks. Excludes flights.

For the most intrepid of explorers, the 49 night Ultimate Odyssey (departing April 7, 2013) is voyage aboard Marina from Tahiti all the way to New York. This spectacular cruise starts with a glorious 14 days in French Polynesia, visiting the breathtakingly beautiful islands which are home to numerous endemic species of animals, birds and plants. Crossing the Pacific to South America, the next port call - via the Pitcairn Islands - is Hanga Roa in Chile, a fascinating volcanic island, a world famous archeological site and national park. Cruising north to Peru and Ecuador, Marina then makes a highly memorable transit through the Panama Canal and into the Caribbean Sea, where she spends 7 days visiting, Grenada, St. Lucia, Barbados and St. Barts before continuing north to Charleston on the southern coast of the U.S. and on up to New York. The 49 night cruise costs from 6377 euros, including all meals, complimentary bottled water and soft drinks. Excludes flights.

Oceania Cruises operates four magnificent luxury vessels, sister ships Nautica, Insignia and Regatta accommodating 650-guests in comfort and style, with the newest ship Marina (launched 2011) accommodating 1250 guests. In May 2012 Marina will be joined by a second 1250-guest luxury cruise ship, Riviera.
